Permissions Post

raw_angel_powerHello one and all and welcome to my humble little permissions post! This one might seem a bit offbeat so I'm going to make my best attempt to explain what it's about.
I talked about this matter in my canon update as well. Due to Pit's canon breakage of the 4th wall, I have chosen to retain this ability to a limited degree. This permissions post is for us (you and I) to sort out just how much your character is going to be affected by Pit's preconceived knowledge of them. Here's the scoop: Pit, and by extension the gods of Angel Land, are aware that they exist in some kind of motley multiverse that consists of different video game franchises. They don't see themselves as "fictional" because that would be too uncomfortably meta for this rp, I think. Pit loves games, and he is a huge fan of Nintendo heroes especially. Therefore, this permissions post applies mostly to Nintendo characters, but feel free to tack on your permissions post so I don't have to crawl over to you apologizing profusely for mentioning something you don't want your character to hear. Basically, I'm going to do my best not to ruin anyone's rp fun or run into unwanted revelations.
Keep in mind he will not magically know everyone's canon. This is what I mean when I say this applies to Nintendo characters. He will not know Deus Ex Machina very well, nor will he be familiar with Dangan Ronpa. 3rd party Nintendo games are about his furthest reach away from the Marios and the Star Foxes and the Kirbies and what have you.
Canon Pit has also experienced the events of Brawl, specifically the Subspace Emissary plot. However, his memory has been tampered with so the events feel fuzzy in his head, like it was all just a bad dream he had a long time ago that has no hold on reality whatsoever. This is also arranged so that I don't step on any toes.
One attribute that does change with Pit is that he will have one-sided pre-established CR with certain characters, like Mario or Samus. He won't know them on a personal level, but he does know about them major things they've done in their canon. WHAT A SNOOP I mean-- Picture anything in their backstory to be fair game, provided he knows who they are and the backstory occurs in-game (no pre-game headcanon backstories, etc). And based on Palutena's Guidance conversations, it appears to me that his knowledge of video game characters is... highly inconsistent. For instance, in Uprising he mentions Mr. Game and Watch, but in SSB4, when fighting Mr. Game and Watch, the first conclusion he comes to is, "Is that a shadow bug?" Not everyone will be known by Pit, but if your character does happen to fall under the category of Pit's awareness, then WATCH OUT, I'm gonna contact you before he starts spouting about how great/awful their role was in their respective canons and whatever comes nextstalking. If you really don't want this, I will find a way to curb it. I am good at producing magical excuses.

Arlon's bastard childWarrenDo you want Pit to let them know he knows about them?: I'd prefer if Pit only knows as much as Warren publicly divulges; he goes by the name of Seth, is a senior, he's Totally Not a Pokemon, works editing FDC's newspapers, has an obvious like for Victorian styled clothing/furniture, runs Host Club, otherwise kind of ~mysterious~ and maybe a bit strange.
If yes, how much can he divulge?: Pit can totally divulge all the above, if it becomes a pivotal plot point to reveal more just snag me and we'll work it out.
Anything you DON'T want Pit to talk about?: Basically anything else! That he's Actually A Pokemon and Terrible Person, secretly trying to reform Team Rocket, ect, ect.
Further concerns/instructions/comments: WARREN'S GOING TO BE THE ONLY ONE I'M A BIT CONSERVATIVE WITH. Sneaky underhanded lying bad guy, not of the Graaaahhh and I'm gonna KEEL you flavor. You know how it goes, young master Pit.
